Leaving Today

Good morning! Today I'm flying to Washington DC with a lay over in Houston TX. Both flights are 3 hrs! So will be getting to DC around midnight. John, Kathryn brother-in-law, will be picking us up (i believe!) and we will be spending the night at their house. On Saturday, our group will meet together- this is where I get to finally meet the rest of the group! Will be nice to put faces with the names I've been hearing the last couple months!
A general outline for where I will be in the next 3 weeks- We leave for Kenya tomorrow, Saturday July 25th- where we fly to London. With a hour and 10 min layover-We then get on a flight to Nairobi! (Both of those flights are 8hrs) The next day in Nairobi, we are to get on yet another plane finally reach Sololo. Karbururi is a few miles from Sololo- we will be driving there everyday to the village. We will be staying in the FH house in Sololo. After 9 days there, our group will head back to Nairobi where the group will head back ti the states, except Kathryn and I. The two of us will then head to Mayale and Marsabit for another assignment until August 11th. We will go back to Nairobi and stay at the Country Lodge. We are hoping to meet up with the workers/friends there. Maybe get in on a bible study or arrange one, or visit with them-would be so awesome!
In Washington DC- Kathryn said that we will have time to look at her photos from last years trip! I haven't seen them yet so will be neat to see where I'm going!
